North Delta's Weekend Filled With the Food and Wine Festival

The Food and Wine festival kicks off Friday and ends Sunday at 2 P.M.

The Northeast Louisiana Arts Council presents this year's North Delta Food and Wine Festival. This event caters to foodies and wine lovers alike.

The event starts on Friday at the West Monroe Convention Center with a culinary three hour tasting from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. and continues the next morning with a 5K Dash-N-Dine/Walk-N-Wobble featuring Screwdrivers and Bloody Marys along the way. The evening will include fine dining and wine provided by Restaurant Sage,The Fat Pelican, and Vieux Carre' Market. The weekend concludes with a Sunday brunch, complete with fried chicken and champagne at Restaurant Cotton. Overall, there are thirty-six chefs collaborating to make this festival a reality.
