Dinner Theatre Spoof In "Dinner At 8, Dead By 9"

courtesy

Imagine yourself behind the scenes of producing a dinner theatre.  That's what you experience in Strauss Dinner Theatre's Dinner At 8, Dead By 9.

The deliciously clever comedy brings guests into the final stages of preparation for a dinner theatre.  It's almost showtime as you await the guest of honor.  "We're waiting for the big producer and benefactor to show up because she's the one with all the money.  We can't start without her," says director Michael Steele.

The audience soon sees that her personality is larger than her bank account and that creates problems that quickly get out of control.  Guests enjoy the show as the security officer/detective tries to figure out who is behind the terrible acts that have happened at the show.

The menu is Italian fare prepared by Chef Pat Nolan.

Performances are at the Strauss Theatre Lobby on August 21, 22, 28 & 29.  Information at: strausstheatrecenter.com
