Dinner Theatre Show Blends Hillbillies, Mystery and Comedy

Courtesy

A family of hillbillies attack each other and an IRS agent in dinner theatre show to be shown at Strauss Theater Center.

A family of hillbillies will take the stage at Strauss Theatre in  a dinner theater show.  The Hilarious Hillbilly Massacre is a comedy-drama of a Tennessee family that will turn on each other and an IRS agent. The show was requested to be the summer show for Strauss.

Michael Steele, Director, says the show is one of the most crowd pleasing shows ever done at the Strauss.  "This show sells tickets just by the name alone. All of the guests - everybody that comes - is part of the family. They're part of the family reunion. So, it's very much audience interaction."

The menu  for the dinner theater will include typical Southern food. Dinner will be catered by Chef Pat Nolan.

Doors for the show will open at 6:00 p.m.  Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27. Visit www.strausstheatrecenter.com for ticket information.
