Big Screen Under The Stars In Downtown Cinema

movieline.com

Monroe's Palace Park turns into an outdoor movie venue Saturday, as Downtown Cinema presents a screening of Steven Spielberg's Hook.

The 1991 feature stars Dustin Hoffman as Hook, and Robin Williams as Peter Pan.  Downtown Cinema's Adam McDonald says the family-friendly series provides a unique setting to enjoy a movie.  "It's one of the few green spaces in the downtown area.  You can bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the sunset as we prepare to start the show," he said.

The movie begins at dark.  Free popcorn and bottled water is provided to guests.  The event is free and open to the public.
