Become Better Informed: Colorectal Cancer Awareness Forum
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. This is a community forum designed to educate the public about the importance of colorectal health. Particular emphasis will be placed on the worrying trend of early-onset colorectal cancer. More and more young adults in their thirties and forties are being diagnosed with the disease. This event focuses on the policies, prevention, detection, and, most importantly, treatment. A reception will follow, and light refreshments will be served.
Free home-based screening kits will be given to all participants, compliments of Northeast Cancer Institute.
