The Masur Museum of Art was founded in 1963.

Friday, April 7th, the Masur Museum of Art is holding its 8th annual Off the Wall fundraiser from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Off the Wall is the museum's biggest fundraiser of the year.

Proceeds from Off the Wall, named for its intent to get artwork in the silent auction 'off the walls',  go to support the exhibitions and educations programs held at the Masur Museum of Art. This event will include live music by Arthur Stewart and Jesse Grinter, food provided by Chef Pat Nolan, along with a silent art auction and the popular Bon Voyage Raffle.

Each guest will receive one Bon Voyage raffle with their tickets, and can purchase additional tickets for $20. The winner of this raffle recieves a free trip anywhere they want up to $3,000. There will also be a raffle for and on-site painting done by Ricky Sikes.

The Masur Museum of Art is the largest visual arts museum in Northeast Louisiana. The museum was a gift to the community from the Masur children after their parents passed away. Along with providing a dynamic visual arts experience through exhibitions, public programming, and collections management, the Masur Musuem is dedicated to keeping admission free to the public.
