The Downtown Arts Alliance is hosting the last Downtown Gallery Crawl of the summer on Thursday, August 1 from 5 to 9 p.m. The Downtown Arts Alliance is a non-profit comprised of a working board of volunteers. The board ensures that the Downtown Gallery Crawl shows new fine art from local, regional and national artists six times a year.

This Thursday, October 4, downtown Monroe and West Monroe will be transformed for our downtown gallery crawl from 5-9. This free event involves 10 galleries opening up to show local art, vendors stationed downtown and live music. You can find their website here

There's a diverse group of artists to see, several food trucks and artisans to buy from available Thursday night. There will be a new gallery open called Edges, curated by Clinton Whitney. Ben Moss and Amanda Row are working together on the outside gallery as well.

ULM Senior Accie Sullivan received the Dorothy Bassett Emerging Artist Award from the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council. The award encourages artists to keep pursuing their career by helping fund their art. The awards were presented March 1, 2018 at the Northeast Louisiana Arts Awards.

The next installment of the Downtown Gallery Crawl, April 5 from 6-9 p.m., continues to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Crawl. Resident guest artists are on hand to talk with patrons about their art at this free event.

The Downtown Gallery Crawl is an opportunity to check out what local artists of all media are creating. The Downtown Arts Alliance is pulling together nine shows in galleries across the Twin Cities, with live music, food, and drink around every corner. The Crawl is entirely free to any patrons interested in what regional artists have to offer.

The Downtown Gallery Art Crawl is Thursday, Feb 1 in Downtown Monroe and Antique Alley.

The Downtown Art Alliance is continuing their celebration of its 10th Anniversary with new exhibits from artists both local and out of state. The Crawl showcases art from the Northeast Louisiana region, as well as Texas and Missouri.

Thursday, June 1st, the Downtown Gallery Crawl is back to continue growing the artistic spirit in downtown West Monroe and Monroe. The crawl will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and includes 9 galleries this month.

Thursday, April 6th, the Downtown Gallery Crawl will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This month's crawl will take place throughout Monroe and West Monroe in 10 different galleries. 

As always, the Downtown Gallery Crawl is a place to find art, food, music, and drinks. The crawl is held by the Downtown Arts Alliance to add culture to the region and give artists and art lovers alike a place to display and enjoy art. This crawl will have old and new elements to keep the creativity flowing.

The Downtown Gallery Crawl is an art event that spans across the Ouachita River featuring eight local galleries in Monroe and West Monroe. The River Gallery, Rumo's, Garret House, The Palace, Arender Studio and Gallery, Upstairs Gallery, Sugar Gallery, and The Big Room are all participating in making this twin cities gallery crawl a possibility.

Despite the summer heat battering the area, The Downtown Arts Alliance continues its mission of promoting art in the community with the Downtown Gallery Crawl on Thursday, August 4 from 5 to 9 p.m.

This month's crawl features eight galleries, and spans across the river to include both downtown Monroe and West Monroe. In addition to countless works of art, patrons can also enjoy food, drink, music, and air conditioning provided by the galleries and local businesses.

There are many things that separate the cities of Monroe and West Monroe, but a love of art is one thing that unites the two. On Thursday, June 2 from 5-9 p.m. the Downtown Arts Alliance celebrates this common chord with the Downtown Gallery Crawl.
