Strauss Theatre presents Godspell 2012 Revised Version. Showings start on Thursday, September 5, for patron night and run Thursday through Sunday the first two weekends in September.
Show times are 7 p.m. for Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for students.
This production is a retelling of the original sensation, injected with contemporary references and new arrangements. This is a timeless tale of friendship, loyalty, and love featuring songs by Stephen Schwartz dance, and storytelling to retell the passion story and parables of the gospels.
Filled with high spirited musical styles ranging from pop to vaudeville, this theatrical celebration is a reminder that kindness, tolerance, and love should live on vibrantly.
