McDonald's to Offer Free Meals to First Responders and Healthcare Workers

McDonald's (Monroe, LA) Facebook

McDonald's restaurants are giving away free "Thank You" meals to first responders and healthcare workers.

First responders and healthcare workers can receive their free "Thank You" meal via carry out and drive through at participating McDonald’s restaurants by simply showing a work badge from April 22 through May 5, 2020.

According to the restaurant's website, these workers can enjoy one free meal per qualified customer per day.

During breakfast hours, first responders and healthcare workers can choose from an Egg McMuffin, Chicken McGriddles or a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. These options can come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and hash browns.

In the afternoon and evening, first responders and healthcare workers will have the choice of a double cheeseburger, 6-piece McNuggets or a Filet-O-Fish. These options can come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and small fries. Choices may vary by restaurant.

Rather than including a toy, McDonald's will include a dedicated thank you note to first responders and healthcare workers, "as a way to show appreciation for what they are doing to keep communities safe during the COVID-19 pandemic."
