An investigation by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators has resulted in the arrest of two suspects in connection with the recent theft of two trailers and other items from a business on Old Sterlington Road in Monroe. Taken were a 24’ enclosed car hauler trailer and a 14’ utility trailer, along with a fish cooker and bolt cutters.
Joshua Moore has been booked into OCC on the charges of 3 cts. of Unauthorized Entry of a Business, 2 cts. of Felony Theft, 1 ct. of Simple Theft and 1 ct. of Simple Criminal Damage to Property.
Stephen Bush has been booked on 1 ct. of Unauthorized Entry of a Place of business, 1 ct. of Felony Theft and 1 ct. Simple Criminal Damage to Property. All of the stolen property has been recovered. The investigation is continuing.
The Union Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
