Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported drowning in the Ouachita River at Prairion Recreation Area Saturday afternoon, May 21st, at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Deputies and agents of the Louisiana Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries began a search for the victim however, as of this time, the victim has not been located. Deputies and LDWF are continuing their search.
The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
