The inaugural Blend event was held at the Monroe Rivermarket on May 1. The event benefits the NELA Arts Council and their mission to help local arts organizations. Dozens of cooks from across the region fed hundreds of hungry attendees dishes ranging from fried catfish to sweet potato bread pudding.
KEDM participated in the event serving hundreds of bowls of jambalaya. KEDM's Cory Crowe and Jay Curtis took home the winning prize in the 2022 Almost Professional division.
