Construction managers of the future invited to ULM Construction Management open house

The University of Louisiana Monroe School of Construction Management in the College of Business and Social Sciences is hosting an open house to introduce the program to future construction managers.

The event is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 5. The SoCM invites high school students and students at universities and community colleges interested in majoring in Construction Management to attend, along with their families.

The open house includes tours of the SoCM and facilities, lunch, meeting faculty and students, and talking with alumni about career opportunities.

Construction managers work in various fields, including project management, estimating, planning, coordinating, materials management, risk management, safety coordinator, general contractor, trade contractors, and facilities management.

Industry leaders will be there to talk with students about trends, new projects, and answer questions about the many facets of construction management.
