Monroe Symphony League returns with a book sale

The Monroe Symphony League book sale returns after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
The collection is made up of gently used books donated by the community. Most of the books are priced at $0.50-1.00.

Other items are included in the sale, such as DVDs, CDs, cassettes, vinyl, sheet music, knickknacks, and puzzles.

The proceeds of the sale will help to support the work of the Monroe Symphony orchestra.

The first weekend of the sale will be Saturday, March 5th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 6th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A nominal charge will be included on the first day of the sale. Mark Henderson, a member of the league, says, "That money goes toward the upkeep of the building.

The second weekend will begin Friday, March 11th, and end Saturday, March 12th. The hours for both days are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
