Downtown West Monroe announces Mardi Gras scavenger hunt

Downtown West Monroe announces various activities planned for the 2022 Mardi Gras season. Retail promotions include a downtown Mardi Gras scavenger hunt and a king cake promotion.

Downtown West Monroe has partnered with the West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce to present a free scavenger hunt activity from now until Thursday, February 24 to encourage people to shop and visit downtown. Virtual QR code doubloons are scattered throughout fourteen downtown shops and restaurants offering king cake creations and Mardi Gras merchandise. The public can enter the scavenger hunt by visiting participating locations, scanning the QR code, and completing the short contact form for that location. Each completed contact form scanned per location will count as one entry, so people can enter numerous times by visiting multiple small businesses. The winners will be drawn on the Downtown West Monroe Facebook on February 25. More information is available at www.shopwest.biz
