(Monroe, LA) Mayor Friday Ellis and the City of Monroe are helping fund an airshow. A check presentation will take place Friday, January 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum located at 701 Kansas Lane, Monroe, LA.
The check presentation is part of a cooperative endeavor between the City of Monroe and the Chennault Aviation and Aviation Museum. A check for $25,000 will be presented to the Southern Heritage Foundation and the General Claire L. Chennault Foundation for the upcoming air show.
