Conviction: man made sex video without telling woman

COVINGTON, La. (AP) — A 42-year-old Louisiana man has been convicted of making a video without telling the woman he was having sex with, and then posting the video on a website for porn.

District Attorney Warren Montgomery says in a news release Wednesday that a St. Tammany Parish jury took only 20 minutes Tuesday to convict Sean T. Bass of Slidell on the charge of video voyeurism.

Montgomery says the sex last year was consensual, but the woman did not know about the video until a friend of hers saw it online months later, and told her about it. The prosecutor says the woman has since moved out of state because of the incident, but gave emotional testimony during Bass's trial.

Montgomery says extradition is pending on similar charges out of South Carolina.
