LAFAYETTE, La. — The Council for the Development of French in Louisiana (CODOFIL) is supporting the “Acadian Looking Glass” exhibition, opening April 22, 2026, at Cité des Arts in Lafayette.
Organized in partnership with Franco Fine Arts Exchange (Franco FAE), the exhibition will be on view through May 31 and feature work from more than 15 Acadian artists representing Acadiana, the United States, and Canada. An opening reception will be held April 22 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The exhibition celebrates the creativity, resilience, and shared cultural identity of the Acadian diaspora while also providing emerging artists with an opportunity to showcase their work in a professional setting.
Franco Fine Arts Exchange, founded by artist Rozalyn LeCompte, is a nonprofit dedicated to connecting Acadian artists worldwide through collaborative projects and cultural initiatives.
CODOFIL leaders say initiatives like this help preserve and promote Louisiana’s Francophone heritage while strengthening cultural connections across North America and beyond.
