Louisiana State University (LSU) has decided not to raise football ticket prices for the 2026 season, reversing a previous proposal following public critiques, including opposition from Governor Jeff Landry after the team’s disappointing 2025 performance.

LSU, however, cited fan loyalty—not the governor's comments—as the driving force behind the move. In a statement, the university highlighted its dedication to affordability: "Fan support is at the heart of everything we do."

The LSU Board of Supervisors and Athletics Department jointly announced the decision, sparing fans any added costs as they prepare for the 2026 season. With Coach Lane Kiffin at the helm and a "phenomenal home schedule" on the horizon, excitement is building.
