Bastrop, Louisiana – October 2025 – The Optimist Club of Bastrop, the Bastrop Lions Club, and the Bastrop Morehouse Chamber of Commerce–Retail Association are proud to announce that Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry will serve as the keynote speaker at the upcoming Community Leadership Luncheon, to be held Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 11:30 AM at the Bastrop Municipal Center, 1901 Moeller Drive, Bastrop, LA.
This extraordinary event is a historic moment for Bastrop and Morehouse Parish, as Governor Landry’s visit brings the spotlight of Louisiana leadership directly to the heart of Northeast Louisiana.
