SOUTHERN STATES LEAD THE NATION:  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention -MISSISSIPPI, LOUISIANA, and ARKANSAS  are states with highest prevalence of coronary heart disease in the U.S.  February is National Heart Month.   Dr. George Mensah is a senior advisor with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and has some simple tips for anyone who would like to reduce their risk for coronary heart disease.
