Make time for Holiday Shopping and a little local history

November is a busy season for everyone, and Downtown West Monroe is no exception. This November has West Monroe busy with three upcoming events so far, and likely with more to follow.

On Sunday, November 1st, the annual Holiday Open House will be hosted in West Monroe at Antique Alley. From 1-5 p.m., select shops will open up for specials and refreshments and attendees get a head start on early holiday shopping.

Then, Saturday, November 7th will see a twilight tour at the Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. Presented by the Kiroli Foundation, this tour features tales and legacies come to life through storytelling by actors who portray a journey through time.

This event will have five thirty-minute tours available; each at 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, and 7:30 p.m. respectively. Tickets are $25 per person, and can be purchased at eventbrite.com. Attendees are to meet at the West Monroe City Hall 15 minutes before your respective tours to be shuttled to Hasley Cemetery.

Lastly Thursday, November 19th brings the annual Champagne Stroll, another Downtown West Monroe event where participating shops will offer specialty shopping and champagne along the way. Champagne service is for ages 21 and older, with identification.
