On Thursday, October 29, 2026, the Flying Tiger Brewery will host the Fright Night 5k, a family-friendly event where participants will run a course through the heart of Downtown Monroe.
This event will take place from 7:00-9:00 p.m., and is open to both runners and walkers alike, with plenty of spooky surprises around the course.
This family-friendly event doesn't stop at the finish line either. Following the race will be a costume contest, age group awards, and custom finisher medals, with live music provided by Jackson Culp and The Company as they take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Every registered runner will also receive a free drink from the Flying Tiger Brewery to enjoy after they cross the finish line.
Registration for the Fright Night 5k is $40, plus additional sign up fees. Registration ends October 29, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Proceeds for this event support the Downtown Monroe Main Street Volunteer Board, which hosts and supports events that bring the downtown community together.
