The West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce visits Ouachita Parish high schools during the month of October to provide students with the opportunity to explore different career fields, education, and training.
West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce provides an online resource that allows students to prepare questions to ask during the fair and take a deep dive into career fields that pique their interest afterwards.
“A career fair can open a student’s eyes to something they had never considered,” said Kristopher Kelley, CEO of the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce. “We want that curiosity to keep going after the event. Career Connections gives students and families a place to explore what the work looks like, what preparation it takes, and what their next step could be.”
2026 Career Connection Fair Schedule continues with:
October 22: Richwood High School | 9:00–11:00 a.m.
October 26: West Monroe High School | 8:00–11:45 a.m.
