On Saturday, October 24 the Northeast Delta Human Services Authority invites the public to a community event that promotes breast cancer awareness, Wellness and community support.
This event takes place at Madison Parish High School in Tallulah, Louisiana. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The race begins at 8:00 a.m.
The Seventh Annual Tallulah 1K/5K Walk and Run for Wellness and Awareness honors loved ones affected by breast cancer and encourages Wellness to promote healthier communities across Northeast Louisiana. The Walk and Run strives to connect residents with ways to stay healthy with activities, support and networks.
This event will also include a "Take Back Day". Giving the public the opportunity to safely dispose of unused or expired medications.
