On October 29th and November 21st, 2026, Monroe's Jackson Cup and The Company will be providing their music to two community events; the Fright Night 5k and Harley Davidson's 6th Annual Toy Run.
Jackson Culp and The Company is a "vampire rock" band based in Northeast Louisiana that has been traveling around Louisiana and the surrounding states since their first performance in 2022. For the band, playing at these events gives them a chance to give back to their hometown.
The Fright Night 5k will take place from 7-9 p.m. at the Flying Tiger Brewery (506 N. 2nd Street) on October 29, 2026. The course will wind through the heart of Downtown Monroe, and is open to both runners and walkers alike.
This family-friendly event doesn't stop at the finish line, as following the race will be a costume contest, with music provided by Jackson Culp and The Company as they take the stage at 7:30 p.m.
Registration for the Fright Night 5k is $40, plus additional sign up fees. Proceeds for this event support the Downtown Monroe Main Street Volunteer Board, which hosts and supports events that bring the downtown community together.
The next event will be on November 21, 2026, with the Warhawk Harley-Davidson's 6th Annual Toy run. Riders will gather at the North Monroe Baptist Church (210 Finks Hideaway Rd) beginning at 9:30 a.m., where coffee, hot chocolate, water, and donuts will be waiting for everyone.
At 11 a.m., a short police escorted ride will begin, going through the Twin Cities and on to Warhawk Harley-Davidson for lunch and the you drop off.
The registration fee is $10, or one unwrapped child's toy per rider (no stuffed toys), so that every bike that rolls in can help make the season brighter for local children and families in need.
