Travelers have the opportunity to enroll in the TSA PreCheck program at The Monroe Regional Airport (MLU), 5400 Operations Rd, Monroe, LA. This event will be held Tuesday. October 20 through Friday, October 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This opportunity allows low-risk travelers a smoother experience when dealing with the airport security process. The program is open to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents. There is a $76.75 enrollment application fee, which covers five years of participation if approved. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is recommended that the public submit an online application and schedule an appointment. To enroll in person, fingerprints and a photo are collected; proper documentation proving your identity and citizenship status is required.
