United States Chief District Judge sentenced Scott Griffin, of Dubach, to 204 months in federal prison for Conspiracy to distribute and possess with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, followed by five years of supervised release. He pled guilty in June 2026.

According to documents, between May and October 2025, Griffin conspired with several others in a scheme to distribute methamphetamine. Investigators obtained a wiretap on a co-conspirator’s phone and intercepted communications between multiple narcotics distributors, including Griffin.

Agents intercepted calls on July 2 on which Griffin ordered 1.25 pounds of methamphetamine from a major supplier. After Griffin was supplied, agents used a confidential source to purchase one ounce of methamphetamine directly from Griffin.

Griffin was arrested later that night following a traffic stop by a Lincoln Parish deputy that revealed $729 in small denominations in Griffin’s pocket. The deputy also uncovered a bible case containing two digital scales, clear baggies, and 263 grams of methamphetamine.
