On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Tails at Twilight by the River Cities Humane Society for Cats returns for their annual fundraiser event, which will take place at ULM Bayou Pointe from 6-10 p.m.
The River Cities Humane Society for Cats is an animal shelter dedicated to protecting the cats of Northeast Louisiana by providing care, lifesaving programs, and a safe place for every cat in need. They strive for a no-kill future for cats in Northeast Louisiana, and they want to ensure every cat has the chance to be safe, loved, and home.
Funds raised through Tails at Twilight will help provide food, medical care, litter, medications, and other essentials for the cats that end up at. These funds also give the River Cities Humane Society for Cats the flexibility to respond quickly to emergencies, maintain daily operations, and continue programs like Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), which helps reduce the stray cat population throughout Ouachita Parish.
As well, Tails at Twilight will be holding a silent auction featuring unique items donated by generous businesses and community members. Donations are welcome including: vacation packages and experiences, event tickets and classes, restaurant gift cards, spa and salon services, gift baskets, artwork and handcrafted items, and more.
Partnerships are also available from $500-$5,000 and include different combinations for event tickets, social media promotion, event signage, stage recognition, and other promotional opportunities. Partners are recognized before, during, and after the even through event signage, social media, printed materials, and on-stage acknowledgements.
