Sugar Hall Grand Reopening - 10:30 a.m., 580 University Ave.
The University of Louisiana Monroe will hold a grand reopening for the newly renovated Sugar Hall on Monday, September 28, at 10:30 a.m. at 580 University Ave. Sugar Hall recently underwent a $27 million complete renovation.
Serving as a hub for the ULM College of Health Sciences, Sugar Hall features three state-of-the-art clinics that serve the community as well as labs and classroom space.
Brief tours will be available for attending media members. Speakers at the ceremony will include ULM President Dr. Carrie L. Castille, Dean of the College of Health Sciences Dr. Wendy Bailes, and a representative from the office of Governor Jeff Landry.
CVS Health Presentation to the College of Pharmacy - 2:00 p.m., 1800 Bienville Ave.
The ULM College of Pharmacy will host a presentation at 1800 Bienville Ave., honoring a donation from CVS Health that will contribute to scholarships for pharmacy students. Governor Jeff Landry will be in attendance for this event.
In addition to Gov. Landry, speakers will include ULM President Dr. Carrie L. Castille, Dean of the ULM College of Pharmacy Dr. Gina Craft, and a representative from CVS Health.
