On September 14, 2026, ULM Football Coach Bryant Vincent spoke at a press conference following Saturday, September 12th's game, where the ULM Warhawks faced the UAB Blazers and ultimately lost 26-20.
"Overall, I thought we really took a big step. It's not what we wanted. Obviously we want to win," said Bryant Vincent. "We want to win. But very proud of our players' growth and their effort. And now let's take those same steps this week."
On Saturday, September 19, ULM Warhawks will face off against Southeastern Louisiana Lions for ULM's first home game of the season.
"You know, this is a good football team coming to Monroe for our home opener. It's an in-state team. You know we understand that it's an FCS team that will be their Super Bowl," said Bryant Vincent. "You know it's always a big deal when you're playing an in-state team."
