The city of Richwood invites the public to a conversation about the community's health and well-being on Thursday, September 24, at 10:30 a.m.
This meeting will focus on prostate and colorectal cancer—two serious health issues affecting individuals and families throughout the community. This meeting will discuss the obstacles that prevent people from being screened and explore how community leaders and organizations can work together to encourage early detection and connect residents with lifesaving screening opportunities.
Richwood City Hall encourages men who meet the criteria to get screened and receive key information that may save their lives. Fathers, husbands, brothers, sons, relatives, friends, and neighbors are being lost because too many people delay screening because of a lack of information, access, or encouragement from someone they trust.
Join concerned community leaders and identify ways to increase awareness, remove barriers, and help more people receive screenings before symptoms appear.
