On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., join the City of West Monroe and the West Monroe–West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce for a Community Breakfast featuring Elliott Cook, Director of Real Estate for Retail Strategies, for coffee and networking at the West Monroe Convention Center.
Elliott Cook works with communities across the country to strengthen their retail recruitment strategies and better communicate with retailers, brokers, and developers. Cook is also a frequent speaker on retail and economic development, having presented at events including ICSC Vegas, ICSC Southeast, the International Economic Development Council, International Downtown Association, and the Southern Economic Development Council. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and currently serves as ICSC Community Advancement Chair for the Gulf South Region.
During this event, attendees will learn business topics like how market data, consumer trends, available real estate, community assets, and relationships with retailers and developers all play a role in successful retail recruitment.
