Louisiana Public Service Commission Candidate Forum will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 5:30–6 p.m. at the University of Louisiana Monroe Library - The Terrace.
Residents have the opportunity to hear from commission candidates' perspectives on important topics that affect the community. Residents, business owners, students, and community leaders are encouraged to attend. Join the West Monroe–West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce, Monroe Chamber of Commerce, KEDM Public Radio, ULM, KTVE/KARD, KNOE, and the Alliance for Affordable Energy for a candidate forum focused on informing our community and encouraging meaningful public dialogue.
“Bringing people together for conversations that matter is an important part of our work as a Chamber,” said Kristopher Kelley, CEO of the West Monroe–West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce. “These forums give residents and business owners an opportunity to hear directly from candidates, understand their priorities, and make their own informed decisions. We appreciate the collaboration of our community partners in making this opportunity available.”
The Public Service Commission Candidate Forum will be followed immediately by the 5th Congressional District Candidate Forum at 6 p.m. This forum is presented for voter education and does not constitute an endorsement of any candidate or political party.
