WEST MONROE, La. — The West Monroe–West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce invites the public to Kiroli Park Day: A Community Celebration this Saturday, September 12, for a free, family-friendly event celebrating community, connection and one of West Monroe’s most beloved places.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kiroli Park, bringing together more than 24 local organizations, businesses and community partners for activities for family friendly activities.
“Kiroli Park is one of those special places that connects generations of our community,” said Kristopher Kelley, CEO of the West Monroe–West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce. “Kiroli Park Day is an opportunity to bring everyone together—to enjoy the park, discover the organizations doing great work across our community and celebrate what this incredible community asset means to West Monroe and Ouachita Parish.”

Families are encouraged to come and go throughout the three-hour celebration, explore the park, meet participating organizations and enjoy activities designed for all ages. Water slide, bounce houses, obstacle courses, Live Music with Jordan Sheppard, Princess Time with area pageant winners.
The celebration also comes at an exciting time for Kiroli Park. As the community looks toward the park’s next 100 years, Kiroli Park Day provides an opportunity to celebrate the generations of memories already made there while building enthusiasm for its continued role in the future of West Monroe.
“Whether you visit Kiroli every week or haven’t been in years, we want you to join us Saturday,” Kelley said. “Bring your family, spend some time in the park and help us celebrate a place that continues to bring our community together.”
