Keep ULM Beautiful is hosting Water Sweep 2026, a waterway and campus cleanup event in collaboration with Ouachita Green and ULM's Student Government Association (SGA), on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event will begin at Scott Plaza (the ULM fountain).
The Water Sweep event is dedicated to removing litter and debris from the backs of Bayou Desiard, parking lots, and roadways. Cleaning supplies will be provided to volunteers, including gloves, trash bags, buckets, and handheld grabbing tools. KULMB will have enough supplies for approximately 150 participants, so individual sign-up is required.
Keep ULM Beautiful strives to improve the campus to meet the needs of the changing living and educational environment of students, faculty, and staff by encouraging litter abatement, recycling, and sustainability practices.
