The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on the nights of Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11, 2026, there will be an outside (right) lane closure of I-20 westbound (elevated bridge section) between West Monroe and Monroe.
These lane closures are scheduled to take place on Friday night from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., and on Saturday night from approximately 9:00 p.m. to noon on Sunday, and are necessary to allow DOTD crews to perform routine maintenance on the drains located on the bridge.
The lane closures will take place the between S. 5th Street and Jackson Street interchanges.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
Alternate Route: No detour route is necessary for this work.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
