The Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana is holding a Super Saturday: Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, July 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 117 Hall Street, Monroe.
The free event will feature backpack distribution (while supplies last), community resources, children's activities, games, giveaways, and information about the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Families will also have the opportunity to visit local organizations and learn about services available throughout Northeast Louisiana.
Backpacks and school supplies will be distributed to eligible children while supplies last. A parent or guardian must be present to complete the required waiver.
"Our goal is to help families start the school year strong by connecting them with valuable resources and providing a fun morning for children," said Deidra Adair, Executive Director of the Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana.
