Grambling Roots and Rhythm Arts Camp

The North Central Louisiana Arts Council has opened registration for the Grambling Roots & Rhythm Arts & Harvest Camp, set to take place from July 20–24 at the Grambling Community Center.

This camp, aimed at students entering grades 1–6, will run daily from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The initiative is backed by the Louisiana Division of the Arts and other local sponsors, including the City of Grambling and Grow Grambling.

The camp offers an exploration of art, culture, and heritage through activities like quilting, African dance, gardening, and cooking.

Following this, the Dubach Arts Camp will be held from July 27-31 at the Dubach Community Center, featuring visual arts and vocal music sessions led by Lauren Dixon and Chloe Alexander.
