A stalled out cold front and tropical moisture from the Gulf have collided across Texas and Louisiana. Heavy rainfall is falling at rates up to 1" to 2" per hour with some parts of Louisiana already seeing 8" of total rainfall with the storm. Road flooding is occurring in the Shreveport area. A flood watch is in effect across north Louisiana until Tuesday evening.
The system is slowly drifting to the northeast but will be in the area until clearing out Tuesday night.
