Photography workshop set for July 18 in Union Museum

Professional photographer Rocky Boudreaux will lead a workshop, “Introduction to Photography,” on Saturday, July 18, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., in the Union Museum of History and Art in Farmerville. He will cover how to use a regular digital camera as well as a cell phone camera, composition, lighting, and the “exposure triangle.” Fee for the class is $20. The museum is located at 211 N. Main St., Farmerville. Pre-register at 318-982-8020.

Boudreaux is a published photographer who presents informative programs on photographic techniques as well as national and state park tour presentations. His 38-year professional career includes studio portraiture, nature work and guided photo tours, and being published in several travel and trade magazines. Now semi-retired, Boudreaux is a freelance photographer and instructor in Monroe.
