76th Annual Louisiana Peach Festival set for June 6

RUSTON, LA [May 22, 2026] – The 76th Annual Louisiana Peach Festival, returns to Downtown Ruston on Saturday, June 6, bringing a full day of live music, local art, family-friendly activities, peach-inspired food, and community traditions to one of Louisiana's longest-running agricultural festivals.

Admission to all festival activities on the grounds is free. Festival attendees can enjoy more than 12 hours of live entertainment, the Peach Curated Market, Kids Alley, food vendors, peach ice cream, and a variety of special events taking place throughout the community.

This year's festival introduces two new additions. On Friday, June 5, Peachy Preview Night will give visitors an opportunity to kick off the weekend festivities following the Peach Parade. From 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., select festival food vendors and participating downtown businesses will be open for shopping, dining, and early festival fun.

Festival organizers are also introducing a fireworks show to cap off Saturday's festivities. The 10-minute display will begin at 8:45 p.m. and can be viewed from Railroad Park before the evening headliner takes the stage.

“The Louisiana Peach Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year for our community and an important driver of visitation to Lincoln Parish," said Tori Davis, Interim President and CEO of Experience Ruston. "We're excited to introduce new additions this year while continuing the traditions that have made the festival a beloved Louisiana event for more than seven decades.”

Throughout the day on June 6, visitors can browse handcrafted goods and original artwork at the Peach Curated Market, enjoy interactive activities and performances in Kids Alley, and experience a full lineup of live entertainment on the Railroad Park Stage. Musical performances will feature Russ-Town Band, Virlyn Bangcot, Trey Gauthreaux, Swamp N Roll Pat Mason & Bayou Boogie, Josh Love Band, Elise Clare Causey, Stampede, Averyal Goyne, Tipsey, and festival headliner The Chee Weez.

In addition to festival day activities, a variety of peach-themed events will take place throughout the week leading up to June 6. Community favorites include the Peach Hunt, Peach Culinary Crawl, Peach Art Exhibit, Peachy Sidewalk Sale, Peach Parade, Peach Festival Rodeo, Run for the Peaches 5K, Peach Pickleball Tournament, Antique Car Show, Queen Dixie Gem Peach and Princess Peach Pageant, and more. A complete schedule of events is available at the Louisiana Peach Festival website.

Another beloved Peach Festival tradition is the annual festival poster and commemorative merchandise. Earlier this year, the festival issued a call for artwork submissions inspired by the 2026 theme, "Welcome to Peachtown, USA." The winning design was created by Jenny Lazarus.

"When I read the poster's criteria, a vision immediately came to mind," Lazarus shared. "As I began sketching, I fell in love with the idea—not just as an image, but as a moment that truly took place. The crisp peach pie, a buttery aroma, a scoop of homemade peach ice cream, with the warm sun peeking through—it felt real to me, like a celebration which happened at a wooden picnic table not-so-long-ago."

Official 2026 Louisiana Peach Festival merchandise is available for purchase at the Ruston Visitors Center (2111 N Trenton St.) through Friday, June 5, and at the festival merchandise tent on June 6. Merchandise includes posters, stickers, tote bags, youth and adult t-shirts, and infant apparel.
