Future Entrepreneur Academy shapes tomorrow's business leaders in West Monroe

The West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce is setting the stage for the next generation of innovators and business leaders with its summer program, the Future Entrepreneur Academy (FEA). Created for high school students in grades 9-12, the initiative aims to inspire and equip young minds with the tools needed to thrive in the world of entrepreneurship.

The academy will run from July 10 and July 13-17. Students will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily at The Commons, located behind the Ouachita Parish School Board Offices on Slack Street. Applications are now open, and the program offers an extraordinary opportunity for local students to learn from seasoned professionals while honing their leadership and business skills.

The program culminates in an exciting pitch session inspired by the popular TV show "Shark Tank." Students will present their business concepts to an audience, showcasing their creativity and strategic thinking while applying the lessons learned throughout the program.

For students eager to embark on this transformative journey, applications can be submitted online at (https://www.westmonroechamber.org/fea. The Chamber also offers additional career mentoring programs designed to guide individuals toward professional success.
