Monroe, LA — The River Market is scheduled to take place this Saturday, May 9, from 9 AM to 1 PM at 316 S. Grand Street. Set against the backdrop of the Ouachita River, the market aims to provide a platform for local vendors and artisans to showcase their products.

This month’s event will feature a variety of offerings, including handmade items and local art, alongside food options from several food trucks and vendors. With Mother’s Day approaching, many attendees may find it an opportune time to shop for gifts.

The market is designed to be accessible to all, with a pet-friendly policy allowing visitors to bring their leashed pets. Organizers encourage community members to enjoy the open-air atmosphere and support local businesses.
