Residents of the Four-State region should prepare for an escalating risk of severe weather starting this evening, particularly across areas along and north of I-30. The threat is expected to persist through Wednesday and into the evening hours as a cold front advances across the region.

Key hazards include large hail, damaging wind gusts, and the possibility of a few tornadoes. These severe thunderstorms could lead to significant impacts, so it is important to remain vigilant and stay updated on local weather alerts.

According to the latest Weather Risk Outlook, a "Severe Slight Risk" is in place for Tuesday night for areas north of I-30. By Wednesday, this risk extends to areas south of I-30 as the storm system progresses.

Residents are advised to have a reliable source for weather updates, secure outdoor items, and review their emergency plans. Conditions may change rapidly, so stay prepared and heed any warnings issued by local authorities.
