During an investigation between April 5th and April 11th, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office received multiple vehicle burglaries reported from Ouachita RV Park and Pavilion RV Park, with several firearms also stolen.
Tyler Penna and Aliyus Irwin were identified as suspects. Investigators obtained three counts of burglary of a vehicle for each individual. Tyler Penna was arrested on April 14, 2026, and Aliyus Irwin was arrested on April 15, 2026.
Deputies continued investigative efforts to locate the stolen firearms and identify individuals who had purchased them. Working in coordination with the OPSO Investigations Division and the Special Crimes Apprehension Team (SCAT), multiple search warrants were obtained and executed.
As a result of these coordinated efforts and continued follow-up, deputies successfully recovered four of the stolen firearms.
This investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges and arrests are possible. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office reminds residents to remove valuables from vehicles and to always lock vehicle doors.
