Residents of West Monroe will get the chance to meet their mayoral candidates during the Meet The Candidates Forum on Monday, April 27, 2026. The event will be hosted by KEDM Public Radio, The West Monroe - West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce., and KTVE, KARD, and Ark-La-Miss CW.
The event, scheduled at West Monroe High School’s Edgewood Multipurpose Facility, begins at 6:00 PM and is free for all attendees. Candidates will share their plans to address key local issues such as economic growth, infrastructure, safety, and quality of life. Moderation will ensure equal time for all participants to express their priorities, fostering transparency.
“The forum empowers voters with direct insights into each candidate’s vision for our future,” highlighted Kristopher Kelley, Executive Director of the Chamber.
The event will be moderated by KEDM News Director Cory Crowe.
