On April 16, 2026, felon Caleb Carlton Dement was arrested by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division.
During the arrest, deputies recovered several firearms believed to be connected to the investigation.
Dement was taken into custody on the following charges: Unauthorized Use of a Movable, Simple Burglary, Illegal Possession of Stolen Things, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Firearm on Premises of Alcohol Establishment, Illegal Discharge of a Weapon, and Possession of a Firearm.
This investigation is ongoing and includes additional charges.
