Monroe, LA – KEDM Public Radio, in collaboration with the Monroe and West Monroe - West Ouachita Chambers of Commerce and the University of Louisiana Monroe, will host a "Meet The Candidates" forum for Louisiana's 5th Congressional District. This free event will take place on Friday, April 24, at 6 p.m. at the University of Louisiana Monroe Bayou Pointe Event Center.
The forum will provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from Republican and Democrat candidates vying for the 5th Congressional District seat. The forum aims to foster informed decision-making among constituents by allowing candidates to share their platforms and address key issues.
For those unable to attend in person, KEDM will broadcasting the event live on 90.3 KEDM Public Radio. Additionally, the forum will be streamed online at https://www.kedm.org, on the KEDM YouTube page, and through KNOE 8 News at knoe.com.
