In partnership with the Northeast Louisiana Children's Museum and the Living Well Foundation, The Center for Children & Families will lead a Foster Family Workshop on Thursday, April 16th at 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is a trauma-informed session designed around the real challenges foster families face.

This event is free and just for foster parents and foster families as a way to equip and encourage the amazing families who open their hearts and homes to kids in care.

Foster Family Workshop offers guidance on the unique needs of foster parents and children, tools to help with emotional regulation, and building connections, along with fun, supervised activities for kids while parents attend the session.

Kaileah Calloway is a sophomore attending the University of Louisiana Monroe majoring in communication.
